- "I occupied as tenant part of such estate for about 40 years prior to the death of Mr. Gardner, and never varied the occupation subsequent to the Inclosure of the parish"; Lot 4 was in occ. of George Kingsley; and that it was never in occ. of any person of the name of Cooper [see in P99/2/1/29 where John Cooper is named]
