    Parties: (i) John Hallowell of Oakham, Rutland, yeoman; (ii) Robert York of Olney, Buckinghamshire, yeoman, (son and heir of John York, late of Lavendon, Buckinghamshire, deceased); (iii) Mary Andrews of Olney, Buckinghamshire, widow. Reciting: - Will of Robert York of Bedford [see Z1335/1 above]; - Z1335/1 Legacy of £340 from will of Robert York of Bedford now vested in (ii), who still owes £300 to (i), though all interest has been paid up to date. (i) has called in the £300 loan from (ii), who has requested (iii) to pay off the debt to (i). This indenture transfers the assignment of the legacy from (i) to (iii). Witnesses: - John Hallowell; - Robert York Endorsed with note of receipt of payment of £300 from (iii) to (i) (signed); witnessed by George Pitt Hurst [solicitor] and George Cooch, clerk to Mr. Hurst. Further endorsed with note of receipt of £320 (being the principal and interest owed), paid by (ii) to (iii) (signed) on 27 August 1787.
