Surprised that entablature for palm-house not yet ready - don't put Alcibiades' dog in pond till this is finished, - the dogs must be painted & sanded. Abbey awning may be removed - it will need attention before next summer. Stove question requires consideration; but for the moment see they are safe; perhaps hereafter all ought to be removed and hot-water apparatus erected; I have seen examples in dwelling-houses, seems to answer perfectly; turn this in your mind & consult best authorities. Alterations in little temple in pleasure ground.
