Woodmen have applied for usual allowance for attention to fame (Gregory, Chapman, Price, Cleaver: 7 gns. in all) Have written to Atkinson about drawings for ironwork of cherry & fig houses. The men he sent are fixing pipes in hot wall, & then will proceed with peachhouse & vinery. Boys drowned in pond above bridge in park (sons of Fooks of menagerie & Reddall of Froxfield) while bathing.
