    Correspondence regarding the sale of Church Cottage to Arthur Lewis Tucker of The Cock Inn, Pavenham for £250 subject to the agreement of the Charity Commissioners. The correspondence includes: - description of the property as: stone built and tiled; with a brick, timber and pantiled barn adjoining; two ground floor rooms; two first floor rooms; in poor repair; 10 poles of garden; approached from the main street by a narrow passage adjoining the school, the property having no road frontage; no services installed with no sink and a dilapidated earth closet in the garden; - a declaration by Charles Darby Linnell of The Retreat, Pavenham, son of Rev.J.E.Linnell, Vicar from 1882 to 1918, that the rents from the cottage, in occupation of Mrs.Middleton, then her son Jim Middleton, had been applied to the Church Lands Charity - application for the purchase money to be added to 3% Savings Bonds 1960/70 held by the Charity Commissioners
