- quinquennial inspection 1981; - application and receipt of grant aid from English Heritage, including an increase in grant from £2,928 to £7,512 (as 40% of the total bill of £18,779 including architect’s fees etc.) due to an increase in the cost of the work done, compared with the estimate (1982-1987); - appointment of Brian Austin of Featherstone Austin Partnership (later Featherstone, Austin Woodward Architects) of Northampton as supervising architect and correspondence with him as the work progressed (1984-1987); - tender, appointment and work of K.G.Wright (Builders) Ltd. of Islip [Northamptonshire] as contractors including original estimate of £8,336.72, final account of £14,087.43 (1985-1987); - reports of Rentokil and Bedford Timber Preservation Company on proposed treatment of dry rot in chancel and chapel roof timbers (1985); - correspondence with Victor J.F.Farrer & Associates of Bedford as consultant architects (1985); - text of restoration appeal letter (1986); - specification for work to be undertaken by K.G.Wright - Architect’s Instructions 1-4 (1986); - correspondence regarding the increased cost of the work and negotiation via Brian Austin between PCC and K.G.Wright (1986-1987)
