    Feoffment and counterpart Parties: (i) Henry Hill the elder of Woburn, grocer; (ii) John Carter of Husborne Crawley, clerk; Henry Goldsmith of Eversholt, gentleman Operative Part: - (i) enfeoffed (a)-(e) to (ii) "for the naturall love and fatherly affecton which hee beareth unto Henry Hill the younger and Edward his sonnes and unto Mary and Alice his daughters for theire preferment" Property: (a) messuage in Woburn where Thomas Hill, "one other of the sonnes of the said Henry the father lately dwelt being sometime part of a messuage called the Swan next to the gatehouse belonging to the now dwellinge house of the said Henry Hill the father accordinge as the same is now divided and parted from thother parte of the said messuage called the Swan and now settled by the said Henry Hill the father on the said Edward his sonne and his heires &c and now in the tenure of John Archbold"; (b) "and also all that the furthest parte of the greate barne and beinge the East parte thereof contayning by estimaton three Baies"; (c) "and also all that yard next adjoyninge to the Messuage & hereby granted wherein the plumpe now standeth except what liberty is granted by the said Henry Hill the father unto the said Edward his sonne and his heires &c by his indenture bearinge even date with these presentes"; (d) "and also all that garden plotte now in the tenure of the said Thomas Hill together with a way & passage into through & from the said little yard and garden plotte now given and settled by the said Henry the father upon the said Edward Hill his sonne & his heires unto and from the garden plotte herein before mentioned to bee in the tenure of the said Thomas Hill"; (e) "and also free peaceable & quiet ingresse egresse and regresse for him the said Henry the sonne and his heires and assignes &c at all times and seasons convenient with horses carts and all manner of carryages whatsoever to come and goe into through & from the gatehouse & yard belonging to the now dwellinge house of the said Henry Hill the father unto the said East parte of the said Barne and to the said garden plotte hereby before mentoned to be granted as hath heretofore byn used & emoyed to and with the premisses hereby granted with all other waies passages freeboords waters easments priviledges hedges fences comons profittes advantages and hereditaments whatsoever unto the said premises hereby granted" Habendum - to (ii) to use of (i) during his life, to use of Henry Hill the son unless he died before age 21 in which case Edward Hill to have possession and to pay £5 per annum each to Mary and Alice Hill unless he too died before age 21 in which case Mary and Alice to have possession Witnesses: - William Lawson; - Thomas Hill
