The fellow said he wouldn’t come back with him he tried to persuade him to but he wouldn’t so he had to leave him where he was as he was losing a lot of blood’. Mentions that L/Cpl Chillery of Elstow was killed [17776 Richard Frank Chillery, 2nd Bedfords, killed 25 September 1915] and that Miss Johnson’s sister Vendya [sic?] knew him
