- Scope and ContentFrom: Edward Tewson of Debenham, Tewson, Farmer & Bridgewater, auctioneers, surveyors and land agents of 80 Cheapside, London EC To: Thomas Joseph Sworder of Hertford "Messrs Sworder's Brewery I have now the pleasure to send you the draft advertisement also two of each of the following documents: -proof particulars, proof posting Bills & proof plans. I shall be glad if you will kindly revise the whole of these and return them to me with any corrections you may think desirable. I have sent duplicates to Mr.Sworder at Luton and have told him that if you and he find any important points upon which it would be well to have a conference I shall be pleased to see you both here to any appointment on any day this week. I find that Mr.Blow the accountant (who is managing the books) is away from London but he is expected back to-morrow. I think the last paragraph in the General Remarks on page 2 will suffice but this you will carefully consider. I do not think it is desirable to give too much information in the particulars".
