From: Thomas Sworder at 30 Marina, St.Leonard's-on-Sea [Sussex] To: Thomas Joseph Sworder of Hertford "I have heard from Mr.Tuson [sic] he says that he must have more information before he can finally complete valuation points of considerable importance he says have presented themselves after giving full consideration to the Balance sheets & profit & loss accounts these accounts he asked me to send in consequence of my asking whether he intended to put down a sum for goodwill of the Business as I thought some of the Houses (that he told us when we met at his office) were much under what they would realize under the hammer. He asked me to meet him in London any day after the End of the Year & suggested there were points of importance to consider & it would be well for yo ualso to be present. Can you meet me any day next week after Monday at 80 Cheapside at 11 o'clock on hearing from you I will inform Mr.Tuson. With all good wishes of the Season & new year to you & yours"
