a). Copy agreement between Rev.W.Mudge (landlord) and John Lovell (tenant) re drainage of Oak Tree Close on Grange Farm, Pertenhall, with pipes from 3 to 6 inches diameter for main drains, and 2 inch for minor drains. Depth of drains to average about 3 feet. Distance from drain to drain to vary from about 7 to 8 yards as the nature of the soil and inclination of the ground may require. To be commenced within 2 weeks and completed within 6 months to the satisfaction of the landlord or his agent 10 April 1886 b). Copy of letter from John Lovell to Rev.G.H.Mosley claiming compensation for cost of drainage work (£70) and for consumption of foodstuffs for cattle, sheep and pigs (£35). 6 August 1888 c). Copy of letter from J.W.Love giving details of drainage pipes supplied by him to Mr.Lovell in 1886-7. 17 October 1888 d). Figures re payments in respect of various fields etc, undated.
