    Joseph Eade Esq., chief steward John Hawkins of Hitchin, gent., deputy steward Recites information of Nathaniel Vincent Herbert of Biggleswade, gent., that Dennis Herbert and George Herbert, both late of Biggleswade, merchants and co-partners, held at an annual quit rent of 2½d. and 2½d½d. - a moiety in all that piece of meadow called May Bush piece in the Common meadows of Potton (1a. 2r.) bounded: :N. Underwood's piece :S. Wells piece :E. The half field next Sutton :W. Great Meadow end Premises formerly part of the estate of William Busby, then or late in the tenure of Robert Fowler, to which Dennis and George Herbert were admitted copyhold tenants on 15 May 1802 on the surrender of William Fowler and George Fowler. Death of Dennis Herbert, and of George Herbert his eldest son, Leaving Nathaniel Vincent Herbert his natural brother as heir. Award by the Potton Inclosure Commissioners to N.V. Herbert, of: - a piece of land in Windmill Field (3r.) :N. allotment to John Heal :NE. Wrestlingworth Road :S. Freehold allotment of Nathaniel Vincent Herbert :W. Sutton Road Admission of Nathaniel Vincent Herbert to a moiety of premises awarded by the Commissioners. Annual quit rents, 2½d. and 2½d.
