    All deeds EBE 10/1-8 were handed over upon completion of sale, January 1997 Abstracting as follows: (I) Gift and settlement dated 3 July 1895 from William Thomas Beckett of Ingoldthorpe Rectory (Norfolk), Clerk in Holy Orders, to the Rev William Philip Beckett of Bedford, Clerk in Holy Orders, of pieces of land in the parish of St. Paul [see copy plan retained] which with other pieces of land then recently sold by WTB comprised the Beckett Building Estate, some of which were in the occupation of Charles Howard or his undertenants by a Lease dated 30 Sep 1876. Include declaration that roads coloured brown on the plan accompanying the deed had been dedicated to the public by WTB as public highways. (II) Will of WPB dated 23 Dec 1904 appointing his sons William Thomas Reginald Beckett and Arthur John Beckett and his daughter Violet Mary Georgina Beckett as executors and trustees to whom he devised the residue of his realty upon trust for sale; death of WPB on 24 Nov 1910; and probate of his will and codicil on 6 Feb 1911 in the Principal Probate Registry. (III) Assent dated 11 Dec 1928 by WTRB of 8 Bentink St., London, gent, AJB of Quay Road, Bridlington (Yorks), engineer, and Violet Mary Georgina Dove (wife of William Dove of Oakdene Crescent Road, Kingston Hill, Surrey, wine merchant) as the personal representatives of WPB (late of Jerviston, Chaucer Road, Bedford) to the vesting in themselves of (inter alia) the Beckett Building Estate upon trust for sale.
