Williams of Luton (£730 for no.1 and £2245 for no.2) and Messrs. Wall & Co of Stroud (£727 for no.1 and £2207 for no.2) considered. Wall's tender for contract no.1 (Chancel and east end)accepted, the work being paid for by Mr.Crawley, 3 Nov.1864 Opinion of Mr.Street sought as to the division of the work, with a view to commencing work at the nave and side aisles, 21 Nov.1864 Tender of Messrs. Wall & Co. (_970) accepted for work in nave and aisles, with _40 for a screen to divide these portions off from the rest of the church. Mr. Street to arrange with Wall to proceed, and hot water heating apparatus to be installed first. Removal of font discussed. 26 Nov. 1864 Clerk of works to be employed. Mr.Bedford to be paid for photographs, 6 Feb.1865 Improper conduct of Clerk of Works (dismissed). Purchase of 200 chairs from Mr.Skull of High Wycombe. Tender of Messrs. Haden & Son (£228.16s) for warming apparatus accepted. Gas supply etc. Mr. Raban to advise on alterations to clock weights. 6 March 1865 Font to be refixed. Contractor to order 200 additional chairs, 8 May 1865 Mr. Street to be advised that Committee intended to proceed with and complete the remaining portion of the interior on completion of the western portion. Communion table and rails to be set up in the western part of the church together with a temporary pulpit and desk, 22 June 1865
