Note on bastardy case made by Mr. Emmison in about 1937. 'Elizabeth Ambridge is the mother of a bastard child, and Samuel Sindfield of Aspley Guise is the reputed father. 12 December 1727' Mr. F.G. Emmison noted that he considered the original document beyond repair, and it would seem to have been destroyed.
