Correspondence from Jones, William, Abbey to Daniel Beaumont, Bedford House: Reads- The business of Craze of Oakhampton; with it may be attended to as far as can be with propriety without paying the whole debt, but even that I believe, if Mr. Palmer had been living, would have been done for the poor fellow. There are people in O. far more expensive to the interest & not so stead. Possible bribery action - proof of opponents' intentions. Heartily sick of elections.
