Report of of Mary Elizabeth Wade Gery, wife of Mr Wade Gery, Solicitor who lost her purse when her little girl got out of the trap. Report of Sergeant George Daniels stationed at Shefford who arrested Samuel Horner for the theft. He had seen some boys at Deadman's Cross and they had found a purse. He said he would take the purse to Southill Railway Station. When the boys found the purse it had 5/7 half penny in it but when Sergeant Daniels asked for the purse from Samuel Horner it only had 1/7 half penny in it.
