Samuel Asprey, born in Ampthill. At 12 years old went to work with his father at Milbrook. Married and went to live in Ampthill. Hired there a 30/- farm, where he lived; and also "the run of some houses" on which he paid 10£ per annum. He held this holding for more than a year.
