    Reads- Upon comparing the list you sent with those here, I find Hon. Freemen:- Bedford Blackiston, George & Richard Lewis Redhead Search Tomlinson, R. dead:- Becket Scott, Ol. 5-6 the places of whose abode Shelton cannot tell Sent yesterday to Covent Garden: George Blackiston (neph. of Richard) would not promise his vote at present; he & uncle would vote as it appeared to them the most reasonable. I sent Murray, Harrington & Shelton out today with 3 lists (names you sent & other names from lists here):- (18 persons named with comments such as: "will vote as His Grace pleases;" "will not engage"; "will not promise"; "engaged for Mr. Whitbread"; "out of town"; one, a tidewaiter, "must vote as the commissioners direct") besides a great no. more who they called on, but were not at home, & a great many could not be found for want of proper directions.
