- TitleCorrespondence from Wynne, J.V., mainly Bedford House to Percival Beaumont: Reads- Snow made post late (7-8 p.m.). Surprised beer has not arrived at Prince of Conti's; send by Fancy, Captain Aram. for Rouen. I don't suppose the ship was cast away, but will send to City to enquire. Much snow & frost. The water in the water-candlestick with a rush light burning in it by my bedside was froze quite solid by 1 a.m., tho' there was a fire in the room when I went to bed. At the S. end of the paddock next Russell Street snow is 2' deep.
