Letters from Dr T Syer, London, concerning the school and the parish, with draft reply from Wythes pointing out that in most parishes the Vicar led the way in school matters but that he [Syer] was the largest ratepayer in Ravensden not paying the school rate, and that the other ratepayers paid more than their share in order to avoid a school board.
