Correspondence from Miller, Samuel, Abbey to Percival Beaumont: Reads- Received list of Steppingley poor to have His Grace's charity of cloths. Snow deep; will feed partridges in park, also hares. Smart (?) has had what he wants to complete Eversholt list; enough left to make the men's & boy's clothes for Steppingley; but there will want about 110 yds. of stuff for the women's gowns, which I will get & have them finished as soon as pos.
