    i) Francis Wythes of Ravensden esq., Frederick Charles Polhill Turner of Renhold, esq., Samuel Peacock of Ravensden, Rev. William Price Turton, vicar of Ravensden, Rev Benjamin Trapp, vicar of Thurleigh - all trustees of Ravensden Town and Poor estate. ii) James Pearse of Bedford grant by i) to ii) under An Act for affording further facilities for the conveyance and endowment of sites for schools' - land in Ravensden being part of the property of the said Town and Poor Estate Charity, extent shown in inset plan. to hold to ii) to the use of i) as a site for a school for poor persons of Ravensden and for the residence of the schoolmaster and schoolmistress. School to be under the management of the Vicar of Ravensden subject to provisions: 1. Schoolmaster and schoolmistress to be members of the Church of England 2. Schoolmaster and schoolmistress to be appointed and dismissed by the Trustees of the charity 3. School to be open to children of all poor persons living in Ravensden irrespective of religious denomination. 4. No child taught at school to be required to attend the parish church or to learn the catechism against the wishes of parent or guardian (in the case of orphans).
