Scope and Content
Recites P29/29/1, enrollment in Chancery on 21 February etc.; that the schoolroom was duly erected, but that it was now too small, so it had been decided to pull it down and erect new schools with a house for the teacher and suitable outbuildings; the said piece of ground being too small, 1) wishes to convey additional land belonging to the glebe for the purpose and to confirm the original conveyance

4) with consent of 2) and 3) grant to 5) the premises mentioned in the deed of 17 December 1839, and 1) with consent of 2) and 3) grants to 5) - all that piece of glebe land in Meppershall adjoining the abovementioned premises, fronting the public road from Shefford to Meppershall 35 feet, and in length on the South West side 69 feet, and in extreme length on the South East side including a portion about 7 feet wide at the South East end of the original site 70 feet, as shown in plan no 2 on dorse.

To hold to 5) on trust for 4) and successors according to the intents of various Acts of Parliament etc.
To permit premises to be used for a school and as a house for the teacher;
School to be conducted upon the principles of the Incorporated National Society; to be under the sole management of the Minister, but the Bishop of the Diocese to have power to appoint a Committee of Management.

c) Note of a grant of £10 made to the school by the Board of Education of the Archdeaconry and County of Bedford, 14 October 1875.
