    Containing: a) Commissioners' oaths of Martin Nockolds [Tring, Herts.] Alexander Watford [Cambridge] and Thomas Thorpe [Barford, Bedfs.], 8 June 1810 b) Appointment of Anthony Jackson, Barkway, Herts., land surveyor, as commissioner of the Roxton Inclosure, in place of Thomas Thorpe, deceased, 22 January 1813, with Jackson's oath, 5 March 1813 c) Roxton Inclosure Award, with signatures of the Commissioners and Charles Banks, St. Neots, Hunts. and J. P. Wedd, Royston, Herts. on parchment 55pp 21 August 1819 [enrolled on 4 September 1819] d) "A plan of the parish of Roxton in the County of Bedford. 1818". Signed by the Inclosure Commissioners [and presumably surveyed by one of them; Anthony Jackson, land surveyor] Covers whole parish. Key to "small old Inclosures" in Roxton and Colesden, (7 entries only). No scale but approximately 6 chains: 1 inch [13.3" to one mile]. Ink and watercolour on parchment. 54" x 30¼" 1st meeting at Chequers Roxton on 8 June 1810 before Thorpe's death. Then at the Cock Inn, Eaton Socon 5 March 1813. Gross acreage 2919 acres 33 p.
