Correspondence from Bullock, Thomas, Bedford House, & Lyndhurst to Percival Beaumont: Reads- The Duke's salary: I have received it & made myself debtor for it in my accounts, which are now a-settling by Harrington. If Duke knew what I have received, & arrears of forest rents collected nearer than they ever yet was, I believe it wd. not be expected I should have any money to remit; the moiety of fines paid at the Verderers' Courts never came through my hands (further details). The receipts arising from the Forest which come to my hands gtly. insufficient to pay the expenses.
