Correspondence from Bodinson, William, Woburn, (Abbey) to Percival Beaumont: Reads- Will send by Woburn coach Fri. papers about Bedfordshire.& Devon militia. There were 2 gen. mtgs. last year at Bedford, 6 Jan. & 7 Feb; on account of the general balloting; but the gen. mtg. for appointing subdivision metgs. for filling up vacancies for 1765 was held at the Quarterly mtg. of the officers at Bedford 1 Apr Possibly his lordship will think the Quaterly mtg. of officers this year (6 Apr) too late. Also gives height of Mlle. Agnes' room: 6'10". Transcript available
