From: Thomas Sworder, Luton; To: Thomas Sworder, Hertford "I sent by the omnibus this morning the Drafts received from Mr.Benning. The parcels are much cut down & perhaps Mr.Maydwell can further reduce the other part. We had an arrival last Evg rather unexpectedly another little girl. Ellen is going on very comfortably & the baby too. The Dr was in time but the nurse did not get here till today. Mrs.Medland however fortunately came over just before the event & remained till today".
