  • Scope and Content
From: Thomas Sworder, 12 Royal Crescent, Ramsgate To: Thomas Sworder, Hertford "I am glad to hear that you & Aunt are going into my native Country. I have written to my man down there, Mr.Hinkin, to day that you will probably be down this or next week. I return Mr.Moss' letter I have not been able to get the Deeds he mentions but John Gray, who holds one, is down here & I hope shall be able to get it from him the other papers required are not much matter. I think Moss only keeps up his bother about them to prevent me writing to H.Vyse about a settlement. I wrote to Moss about the receipt he mentions that I was not able to send it as I had not the particulars with me to fill it up properly if he had sent me receipt I should have returned it signed. I cannot yet get rid of my relaxed throat but I am much stronger & better than when I came down. I have a warm bath every other day. I have no doubt the Black Mountain air will do both Aunt & yourself much good. P.S. I hear from Luton that Business is very brisk now".
