- Scope and ContentFrom: Charles Sworder, Luton; To: Thomas Sworder, Hertford "I understand from Tyler that his house at Hatfield was to be sold on Thursday last. I should like to know by return if it was sold & also when the money will be paid to him, as he owes Tom some money and has promised payment. Tom will not return until the end of next week. Ellen and three children are going to him on Monday. In a letter received from him this morning he says he is much better under W.Medland's superior treatment. Hoping you and all your family are quite well. P.S. Mr.Rayment was here the beginning of the week, wanted to see Tom about Throcking. he asked me the price, I said a little over £6,000".
