From: Thomas Sworder, Hertford; To: Thomas Sworder, Bedford "I am afraid to make an apptmt for Tuesday as I have a Cause coming on in 13 days in London which I must prepare for but I do not see how you can make any definitive arrangement until you know what you can sell. You must manage without me as to the sums for which security is to be given. I recollect too I have an engagement at Ware for next Tuesday. You can have the £600 - but I want the £300 cheque cashed. The Bill given to the Unity is over due. I suppose it must be renewed & I will pay off £50 or £100 pt of the amt".
