From: Thomas Sworder, Luton; To: Thomas Sworder, Hertford "I have just received the enclosed from Messrs Morland & Godfrey & have written to say that I will meet them any day after Friday next at the place named as I thought it was advisable to get the money as soon as possible. Will you therefore send me the Deeds by Medcalf so that I may be prepared for the meeting. I think I am also entitled to receive your costs for the transfer if so please to let me have the account. I have written to Benning to say that you cannot meet him on Wednesday next. We did not get home till 11 last evg but it was pleasant evg. We have heard nothing further, or officially respecting continued Sydney Vyse but from the accounts in the different papers there is not much doubt of his being dead".
