He is a very bad subject for such a misfortune & I was very thankful to find he could get into the fly so well as he did. He will not be able to let you have the Val'n tomorrow in consequence, still that need not hinder you coming over. I shall however hear from you no doubt by my man. I will send to meet Tom the third, he can come at all events, & again next week should you determine on not coming, but I hope you will".
