Allen of same, shopkeeper Luke Brasier above. Recites that on 23-3-1722 Bodenham Rowse of Christ Church, London and son Th. conveyed to Edw. Willes, the Churchwardens and the Overseers of Barton a messuage and close adjoining cont. about 4 a. in occ. Rbt. Crawley in Sharpenhoe, Streatley, in trust: 10/- a year to be paid to the parish officers of Streatley and Hexton (Herts.), the remainder for the parish of Barton, to be distributed to the poor not receiving the collection. - trust now vested in (i) - property conveyed to (iii) as new trustees
