Will of Thomas Pinkerd Clare of St Paul, Bedford. Appoints his wife Elizabeth Clare and two sons Charles Thomas Clare and Alfred Howard Clare executors. In trust to receive all the rents and profits from his real estate and assurance money. After funeral expenses all profits etc to wife Elizabeth Clare for the term of her natural life and after her decease the estate to be divided equally between Charles Thomas Clare and Alfred Howard Clare or the issue of either if they should be dead at the time of the decease of Elizabeth Anne Clare. The rest of the estate to Elizabeth Anne Clare for her own use and disposal. Witnesses: Henry Lane, watchmaker, 45 Wellington Street & Thomas Osborn, watchmaker, 9 Commercial Road, Bedford. Attached probate; Thomas Pinkerd Clare died 17 April 1882. Administration granted to Elizabeth Clare, Charles Thomas Clare and Alfred Howard Clare. Gross value of Estate: £5345.16.9.
