Occurrence Report of PC John Bates, stationed at Henlow who saw Daniel Mole of Buntingford Hertfordshire, driving 2 cows and 1 calf, the property of Abel Stevens, Timber Merchant of Buntingford, along the highway at Henlow. He had no license. Mole said they had been told they didn't need one to take the animals out of Hertfordshire. Mr Stevens of Tebworth was going to send someone to pick them up the next day.
