Before Mich. 1800 he let himself for 1 yr to Wm. Baker of Houghton Conquest he entered this service 2 days after Mich. and continued til the day after the following Mich. when he deceived his whole yrs wages and hired himself for another year to the same service and continued for about 6 wks. He never lived in any other place for a yr and has done nothing to gain legal settlement.
