Jane, Lady Cheyney, widow of Henry Cheyney, knt., Lord Cheyney of Toddington, dec. ii) Henry Bury of Herne in Toddington, gent; Thomas Pottes of Cuddington, Bucks., gent; Thomas Impie of Wingfield, Chalgrave "yoeman"; William Smith, Thomas White, Thomas Reve, Thomas Regnoldes, George Fensham, and Thomas Fuller of Toddington, "yoemen", cofeoffees of a certain land to the use of the inhabitants of Toddington. Consid: Lease for 1000 years by ii) to i) of four pieces of land (1a. 73½p) of land in the south field of Herne, of even date. NOW i) leases to ii) for 1000 years at peppercorn rent. - three pieces of land in Toddington (1a. 73½p.) with appurts, as follows: a) one piece (½a. 26p.) lying in a place called downepittes :W. glebe land of the Rectory of Toddington :E. land of Thomas Regnoldes :S. "one head butteth uppon the landes of John Pottes" :N. "thother heade upon the landes of Thomas Anthonye & Edmunde Fensham [held] of the fee of the Manor of Toddington" b) second piece (58p.) lying in Toonny furlong :S. the previous lands :N. the towne landes of Toddington :E. "one head abutteth on landes of the said Thomas Regnoldes at Fancott" :W. "a meadowe parcell of the gleebe of the sd. Rectory" c) third piece (65½p) lying in Langley Fieldes :E and W. lands of Richard Johnson :N."one head abutteth upon Langley Meade" :S. on land of John Fuller of the fee of the Manor of Toddington.
