From: Thomas Sworder, Luton; To: Thomas Sworder, Hertford "W.Medland asked me when I next sent to Hertford to bring back the Pigeon Holes you gave him some time back. Our man will call at your House with this tomorrow, so perhaps you will be kind enough to say which piece of furniture he is to bring, we also want the 2 casks at yr house, being rather short of them. We have sent Uncle Smitheman a supply of our splendid recherché delightful &c beverage. W.Medland is now located at Dunstable in lodgings kept by 2 old maids. He dined with us on Sunday & today he came over to go with Robert to Hitchin to see his Client Mrs.Brown".
