    John Emery of Kempston prosecuting on behalf of the poor of the parish of Wootton as well as himself, informs that on 7th January 1827 at Wootton Thomas Hostler and Daniel Juffs of Houghton Conquest kept a ginn to kill and destroy game not being qualified to do so. They are found guilty and therefore forfeit five pounds payable half to John Emery and half to the poor of the parish of Wilshamstead.
