From: John Ironmonger 32 Cumberland Street, Luton; To: Thomas Sworder "I have forwarded you a statement of all money received and paid away. I will hand over the balance to any one you please to appoint or I will hold it till I see Mr.Everitt. I should like to rent the shed at the bottom of the Old Brewery yard the one that Mr.Everitt gave me leave to make use off [sic]. Was surprised on Mr.Howe calling on me last Friday and asking for the dates & amounts of all moneys received and stating that for the future he was going to take them. I certainly should not have told the tenants that I was to receive the rents if I was not requested by Mr.Everitt to do so"
