    Copy conveyance: Parties: (i) Edward Burr of Leamington Priors [Warwickshire], esquire; Richard Hatley Crabb of Great Baddow [Essex], brewer; (ii) Thomas Sworder of Hertford, gentleman; (iii) Midland Railway Company Reciting: - mortgage of 31 Jul 1860 between (1) Edward Burr and Richard Hatley Crabb; (2) Elizabeth Burr, widow; (3) Thomas Sworder of Luton; (4) Thomas Sworder of Hertford in which (4) paid £6,250 (part of the purchase money of £42,250) and promised to pay the sum of £35,000 (the remainder of the purchase money) which then became a mortgage by (4) to (1); - (ii) required (a) and was authorised to take it by Midland Railway Branches Act 1866; - a considerable sum of money was still owed to (i) Operative Part: - (i) and (ii) released (a) to (iii) for £700 paid to (i) by direction of (ii) Property: (a) Rising Sun public house with bakehouse etc. adjoining in High Town, Luton on a site measuring 8 perches subject to a lease of 19 Nov 1862 from (i) and (ii) to William Anstee, John Cook and Benjamin Bennett the younger for ten years from 29 Sep 1862 at £34 per annum rent [but see X95/283] Witness: - Charles Benning of Dunstable, solicitor; - A.E.Burr
