Poster for auction sale - auctioneer: H.Holyoak; - site: Crown inn, Luton; - solicitor: Richard Cooke of George Street West, Luton; - printer: Hill of Market Square, Luton Iron foundry, dwelling house, workshop, garden and premises, with plot of building ground in Lime Kiln Lane, Luton between Chapel Street and London Road; in occupation of Bigg, deceased with frontage of 61ft and average depth of 85ft exclusive of shop at end; buildings of brick and slate 38ft 4in by 19ft and 20ft 6in by 12ft 6in with chimney shaft and forge; with stud boarded shed at rear formerly used as turning and pattern makers' shop 35ft by 16ft; dwellinghouse of brick, board and slate containing two rooms up and down, partly erected washhouse and tank of water; building ground had frontage of 27ft and average depth of 64ft.
