Letter to Thomas Sworder at "Heartford" from William Martin of Clavering [Essex] "the trees that I have takin [sic] Down at little London Farm 1 pair elms 4 elm pollards 1 Oak in the field 6 Oaks in the Spring 1 ash in Do 76 of the best of the small ones where [sic] Carred [sic] to the farm 130 of the worse ones was sold with the fire wood Crabs Green Farm 4 Oak pollards 9 spair [sic] Oakes [sic] 9 spair elms. To the fire wood at little London Farm I made £4/10/6 of it. To fire wood at Crabs Green Farm I made £1/6/11"
