    J Osborn to convey to Sir T Chirke the house at Haynes for the Vicar, and the advowson of the Vicarage, in trust that the Trustees should make an addition to the stipend of the Vicar (formerly £8 a year without house or land) on the following conditions: 1) In the event of a vacancy, John Osborn and his heirs [J,O. hereafter] shall present a Vicar within six months or obtain nominations from Kings College, St.John's College, and Emmanuel College, Cambridge, of a clerk aged 33 or over, of which 3 so named J.O. shall chose one which he shall like the best 2) Vicar not to have any other living, his lease to be for 80 years if he so long live and continue resident, and not to demise and part of it without leave in writing of J.O. 3) J.O. to be exempted from payment of £8 per annum etc. 4) No tithes to be required of J.O. 5) J.O. to have all rights he had formerly in the church and chancel 6) If any Vicar demise or let part of the house or Vicarage without consent of J.O., or if he offer or promise it to another, or if he be wilfully non-resident or neglect the service of the cure, then all grants to be void, and J.O. may confer the Vicarage upon some other, and that in the changes of the Vicars the profits of the tithes shall not be received by J.O. but to go to the Vicar that shall be nominated 7) If any [clerk - deleted] curate notwithstanding his forfeiture shall continue to be curate [in the cure and not depart - deleted] then the profits shall be [d... for - deleted] bestowed upon the next clerk as according to Law and the ordinary of the Diocese may do, paying only to such refractory Vicar £8 per annum till such time as he may be got out of the living. 8) If any Vicar shall have any other living or shall be of ill life or insufficient for such place in respect of learning or negligence, if J.O. shall not within 6 months (after the Vicar shall be known to be such) confer the living upon some fit person, or if J.O. shall receive any reward for the admittance of any Vicar, or if J.O. shall take a grant of the premises for his own use, then it shall be lawful for the Colleges [as above] to nominate at the request of the Feoffees candidates from whom the Feoffees shall chose one fit clerk, but profits are to be kept for the Vicar that shall be, and when the Vicar shall die, the former course of election shall be observed 9) The Chancel of Haynes to be kept in repair at the cost of J.O., the Vicar to certify in the presence of witnesses with all convenient speed and to inform J.O. of the cause and occasion of the decay, but the Vicar to keep the house in repair and the grounds fenced at his own charges. 10) J.O. to defray all charges arising for the Rectory by reason of wardship or tenure in capite thereof 11) The Feoffments etc. of the premises to be renewed for ever as often as be needful or at the request of J.O., and J.O. to bear the costs thereof.
