Justices' precept to Churchwardens and Overseers of Northill to pay lump sum to drawn man employing a substitute. Richard Ryecraft, Northill, chosen by lot to serve in the supplementary militia, has provided William Cubis as substitute. Ryecraft to receive 4 guineas, half the price of a volunteer.
