1) Charles Bruce Esq., commonly called Lord Bruce, the son and heir apparent of Thomas, Earl of Ailesbury and Elgin
2) Robert Bruce Esq, the second son of Robert, late Earl of Ailesbury and Elgin, who was son and heir of Thomas, Earl of Elgin
3) Richard Allyn, Rector, Matthias Tomkins and John Betts junior, Overseers, and Robert Read and Thomas Field, Churchwardens
Recites: a) will, dated 6 April 1647, of the said Thomas, Earl of Elgin, bequeathing £100 to the poor of Maulden; b) death of Robert, Earl of Ailesbury, his widow Diana Countess of Ailesbury being his sole executrix, and the said Robert Bruce her executor; c) that £5 per annum has continually been paid; d) that the said Robert Bruce is willing to pay the £100 to the said Lord Bruce in trust; and e) that 1) covenants to pay the interest in future to the Poor's trustees.
