Examination of Henry Joyce Born Bushmead in parish Eaton Socon where his father kept a public house. 13yrs old hired to New Inn at Stotfold for 1yr. 18yrs old Mr Thomas of the 'White Horse' at Eaton [Socon] 1yr. Aged 24 or 25, Mr Drummond of the 'Cross Keys' Hertford. Served for 2yrs. No settlement since.
