    (1) Edm Wingate (11) Mary Willoughby wid. & others created perpetual yearly rent charge of £3 for 6 poor widows; These lands passed into possession of Sarah Inwen aft. Countess of Suffolk (1735 marr.) and were settled again on her 2nd marriage with Lord Falkland in 1752; by her will 1777 she directed her estates to be sold; this was done in 1812, and the purchasers were Wm Hewlett, Wm Parsons & Ric Smith. At the time of sale the rent charge was lost sight of but at the time of settling it had been discovered and £60 was returned. This money and the rent charge of £3 was divided by a mutual deed 24 Aug 1812: 13/6; 1/7/6; 19/-.
