'In the name of god Amen I Franncis Wallis of Stagsden in the countie of Bedford Blacksmith though sick in body yet in good & perfect memorie thankes be to god do make this my last will & testament in manner & forme as followeth first I give & commend my soule into the hands of my redeemer & my bodie to be buried in decent & christian buriall my worldly goods I give as followeth
Imp I doe give unto my sonne Thomas Wallis two shillings
It[em] I doe give unto my sonne Roger Wallis two shillings
It[em] I doe give unto my sonne Franncis Wallis twenty shillings to be payed when he shall accomplish the age of one & twenty yeares & all my shopp tooles & one brass pan & one chest
It[em] I doe give unto my daughter Ann Wallis twenty shillings to be payed when she shall accomplish the age of eighteen years on chest
It[em] I doe give unto my daughter Dorothy Wallis twenty shillings to be payed when she shall accomplish the age of eighteen years & on coffer
It[em} I doe give unto my daughter Elizabeth Wallis twenty shillings to be payed when she shall accomplish the age of eighteen yeares & on coffer
It[em] all the rest of my goods & chattel & the lease of my house I doe give unto Alice my now wife & I doe make her my executrix to see all my debts & legaces discharged In witnes whereof I have here unto sett my hand in the presence of us
